Even as the organization celebrates its 75e Anniversary in 2021, a number of links go viral on messaging platforms claiming that Amul is handing out money to contest winners. The message asks the user to click on the accompanying link to participate.
Such messages were received by Fact Crescendo on its 24 × 7 WhatsApp Factline number 904 905 3770 with users asking us to verify the authenticity of the contest. Archived link

Fact Crescendo has found that the assertion is false. Although Amul is indeed celebrating his 75e Birthday but he did not announce such a contest. Here’s the fact check:
First, we looked at the official Amul Dairy website, but couldn’t find any such ad on any page.
Following this, we checked Amul’s official Twitter account for such information and saw a post dated October 6, 2021, which was pinned to the top, clarifying that the viral posts are fake and that Amul is not organizing not such a campaign. The message asks users to avoid clicking on viral links.
